We have chosen to arrange our images in a series of galleries that we feel represent a virtual journey through some of the most beautiful and splendid stretches of land anywhere in the world. We begin our odyssey on the west coast of California. This was a deliberate choice because we live here, we photograph most frequently here, and unashamedly we state that, despite the crowds, we love it here, perhaps not so much for right here, but definitely for where we can get to relatively easily from here.

As you peruse the galleries you will realize we are not only interested in deep geological history, but we also have a strong interest in the span of human history and the manner in which man has used the landscape and its natural resources to develop both dwellings and commerce, which together, represent the basis for lifestyles and ultimately the ever advancing quality of life (depending on your point of view of course!).
